Third Space: Inventing the Impossible

The History of Miami is still being written according to a dated framework in which only a unicentric view of aesthetics is privileged. This privilege is achieved by the arbitrary removal of other people’s culture from the dynamics of historical continuity. Third Space: Inventing the Possible’s argument is not only to denounce this unicentric ideology, but also to interrogate the nature of this narrative to reveal the underlying myth which disguises these contradictions.
